Aesica Stengthens Procurement Function
Aesica has appointed Dr Barrie Rhodes as the new Procurement Manager - an internal move from his previous production management role with the Company. This appointment will enable Aesica to strengthen its approach to the procurement of both goods and services. Barrie will be responsible for managing all purchasing and contract management activities within Aesica.
Barrie brings to the role academic knowledge gained through the completion of his Ph.D in organometallic chemistry at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, together with his experience gained within the API business both at Aesica, and his previous employment at Rhodia Pharma Solutions (latterly Shasun Pharma Solutions).
"I am delighted to be taking up this new role," says Barrie. "I am looking forward to strengthening current arrangements and working with our subcontractors and suppliers to create a more effective and efficient procurement process."
